A Thousand Words #1

I just recently joined Instagram and because I have been missing writing more personal lifestyle posts I thought I would start a bi-monthly feature where I post some of my Instagram photos so that I can share my day to day life with you. I always love these posts on other blogs and so I thought you might enjoy my version. Let me know what you think!

I spotted this amazing jumper on a lady a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't resist taking a sneaky pic of it!

Watching Bryan Ferry Live in Lyon. One of the people I would love to see live.

Testing out some new La Roche-Posay products

The Mint Bar got a facelift. Love this place.

Cocktails with my sister and brother-in-law.

Sleepover time, hanging out with my boy Pepe.

Celine at Skinflint

Monday Morning pre-work tradition.

 The Lipstick Tag

Distraction from reality in the form of The Carrie Diaries. Awesome 80s soundtrack, cute show.

Spent a lot of time on the bus visiting my mam in hospital this past month. A rare February blue sky in Dublin.

Best Whiskey Sour I've ever tasted at Bagots Hutton

Eggs Royale at the Dylan.

Lazy Sunday walking along the canal.

NCLA nail wraps at the Schuh SS14 press day; Gorgeous lookbook and delicious cookie; Amazing macarons at Aria and Divine boutiques SS14 press day; Gorgeous statement necklace c/o Divine Boutique.

Pre-cinema Ootd (disappointed by The Monuments Men); Ingredients for my favourite omelette; Valentine's Glossbox; My amazing new New Look boots.

Looking back it was actually quite an action packed couple of weeks which is exactly what I needed as this past month has been pretty rough. Thank you all once again for your continued support of my blog. You don't know what it means to me.

Emma x

  1. Love the boots... I have a black boot addiction! Dying to try Bagots Hutton, hope all is okay with your Mam. xx

    1. Thanks Dee! She's slowly on the mend! Definitely recommend Bagots Hutton, I'd walked past it so many times, gorgeous drinks.

  2. You'll always have my support, dear Emma. You have an excellent blog with good information and high quality pictures such as these marvelous images that reveal your lifestyle and preferences. My favorite in this set is "Lazy Sunday walking along the canal." The green grass goes nicely with the rose color of your sweater.

I read your reply to my previous comment and I'm very happy to learn that your mam is home from the hospital. I pray that she will enjoy a speedy and complete recovery.

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Emma!

    1. Thanks so much Tom, she is doing a lot better, we're hoping it stays that way!

  3. Butlers! Nom nom. Lovely pics of Dublin.

  5. Hi Emma! I sure enjoyed seeing all your great photos! I always love seeing some of your family and of course I love the food posts, also. You look as beautiful as ever. I was sorry to read your mom had been in the hospital. I sure hope she has a speedy and full recovery. It seems I have just been working and when I am home just resting. :-D Take care!

    1. It's always good to rest and look after yourself Cindy! Thanks for your lovely words. I hope you and Clint are well! :)
