Lux Effects

So as you can see I have a little bit of an obsession with glitter nail polish at the moment. It just makes me happy. It might sound silly but it's the little things sometimes.

I bought both of these nail polishes online as I don't think Essie is available in Ireland (that I know of anyway).  I layered one of the new Lux Effects polishes called A Cut Above over Demure Vixen

I can't tell you how excited I was when I received this gorgeous glittery polish in the post. It's just stunning! It's got lots of different sizes of glitter in it which gives a gorgeous effect, I painted two layers on to make it really glittery. I have to get more of these Lux Effects polishes, there's a pearl effect one, a silver one and a few others. I definitely recommend this to all you fellow nail polish junkies out there!

  1. This is so pretty! I've tried glitter polishes before and they are such a chore to take off! Do you have any tips on taking it off? :)

i am a big fan of essie polish but haven't tried the glitter shades yet....think i'll give it a go! however, i don't think i could do nearly as good a job as you do on your manicures...you could open up shop! :)

  10. Dear Emma, I love the glittery nail polish! The pink shade is so pretty and as always, your photos are so sharp. Sorry I have been away for a while, I did watch your video and loved it, your most recent one I should say. It was exciting to know you were reviewing Estee Lauder Double Wear. You looked beautiful in the video and did such a professional job. Double Wear foundation is what I use most of the time, the shade of "Dusk". It was one of our best sellers when I worked at Estee Lauder about three years ago. The Individualist foundation is supposed to be more photo friendly but my first choice is the Double Wear. I would use it often for makeovers and we gave away so many samples. You are right, it wears so well and lasts. (Got some on right now, I have to have my makeup!) :-) Hope things are going well with you, Donnacha and with other things that are going on in your life. I thought of you the other morning, I was watching a movie filmed in Ireland called "The Guard". I actually enjoyed the movie. I most enjoyed seeing the scenery of Ireland.

Thank you Emma for your visit and your sweet comment. Yes, that John in my post is something else! He is a very devoted family man and has a beautiful wife.

    Take care, Emma ...

Hope to see a new blog post from you soon! ♥

    Love,

    Cindy
