I suppose I was going for a Western inspired look here (maybe a little Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. Heehee). I've also been wearing my hair in plaits a lot lately, now that it's long enough to do so, especially in work just to keep my hair out of my face.
True Grit is definitely my film of the year so far and I think Hailee Steinfeld is the cutest thing ever, so I wanted to emulate her character's style in the film. We took the photos in the Iveagh gardens again, but in a different part this time. Hope you like them!
Please excuse the amount of photos, I edited them down from a couple of hundred (Donnacha likes to give me plenty of options) I just liked so many of them and I wanted to share them with you!

I hope you've had a good week! Mine has flown by! The weather has been so lovely all week. It's still cold but the sun has been out most of the week. Work has been going well too, I've been given more responsibilities on my floor with Visual Merchandising so I'm having fun playing around with dressing mannequins and shelves and laying out the floor. It's something that I feel I'm good at and it makes the job a bit more fulfilling.
Have you got anything exciting planned for the weekend?
Emma xx
This is a marvelous photo set, Emma, and you're really making me determined to see True Grit. When I was a child in the 1950s my mother and most other women wore a hat to church on Sunday, sometimes with a veil. It's such a pleasure to meet young vintagers like you who are bringing it all back alive. Have a wonderful weekend, my new friend!
