Did you have a good weekend? Unfortunately Donnacha is still in hospital waiting on his final CT scan which he was meant to get today. Fingers crossed he gets out tomorrow, finally! (Thank you for bearing with me through this and for all your words of encouragement!)

Also a big thank you for the lovely things you said about my video! I was so nervous about being on camera but it was okay after a while. My sister said I was acting a bit and Donnacha said he's not used to seeing me be so normal (I'm constantly messing and joking and putting on accents- it can get quite annoying) but hopefully I can across as me and you got an idea of what I'm like in person. I have a few ideas for my next video(s) so maybe I'll make it a monthly thing, who knows!

I heard this cover of my favourite Beach House song Master of None by Toro y Moi last week and wanted to share it with you because I thought it was a really great cover!

  1. Well, I thought that Donnacha would be out and about by now. I'm sorry to learn that there was an unexpected delay in his discharge. I'll keep my fingers crossed that tomorrow will be the day.

I read all of the comments and I'm sure you'll agree that the audience has given you a powerful mandate to continue making videos. If you believe that you came across as yourself we want you to know that it's a very good thing! It is very easy to like you and to care about what you have on your mind.

Here's hoping for all good things to come your way tomorrow and in the week ahead, dear friend!

  2. Hey Emma, I really admire how upbeat you have been during this whole rigmarole. Please keep us updated on how Donnacha is doing, I'm sure all your readers are thinking of you.

As for the photos, beautiful! I'm particularly taken with the picture of Colin Farrell, but then again I always have been ;-)

  4. I hope Donnacha gets out soon. It looks like he has a career as a world class journalist in front of him :) PS my accent is nothing special except for the occasional Yall
