The Eve, Day and Day After

A little late, here are some photos of my Christmas in Carlow and Skerries. How cute is Buddy the puppy? He's a snorkie, a cross between a Miniature Schnauzer and a Yorkshire Terrier. I can't wait to have my own dog!

Jack got a Walking Dead t-shirt from my parents!

Just a few snaps, I mostly wanted to show you the puppy! I have a full blogging schedule done up for the next two weeks and I'm really enjoying getting back into it.

Happy New Year! How did you spend last night? We had some friends over and watched Wet Hot American Summer. Pretty awesome I thought.

Also just to let you know I'm planning on doing a special giveaway when I reach 99 followers or 200 posts, whatever comes first.

  1. I love Buddy! Bless his heart! In the mid 70s I purchased a Yorkshire Terrier and named her Thomas' English Muffin V. I needed to add the V because there were four other AKC registered dogs of the same name. That little Buddy is just about the cutest pup I've every seen.

I spent last night watching the new Woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris which I thoroughly enjoyed. You should see it if you haven't already.

You'll be passing my 99 in no time, Emma, and deservedly so. You are a delightful person and operate a very interesting blog!

  2. Buddy is such a cute little doll! I know you all are already in love with him! There's nothing like a dog. I always enjoy your photos and "meeting" more people in your life. My favorite photo here is the one of you with downcast eyes. Well, yesterday I worked some on my computer, downloaded a newer browser and for the first time in five months my followers' photos have reappeared! Midnight in Paris that Tom mentioned above is on my list to see. I have mentioned it several times this week to Clint that we had to see it. Also, we both have read reviews on Hugo and have to see it soon. I laugh as I type this, last night we watched "The Scum of the Earth". (from 1963) It has to be the worst acting we have ever seen so it was a comedy for us. ;-) Of course we had to have our black eyed peas last night and I ate something unhealthy for me but they were good ... fried chicken livers!

Emma, enough of me boring you to death! I hope you have a good week at work. Have a wonderful new year! ♥

  3. Holy crap that has got to be one of the cutest pups I have ever seen (apart from my little guy of course). I've been thinking my puppy needs a buddy. I'm gonna keep my eyes peeling for any snorkie pups. Happy New Year to you and your family!
