101

Everyone went a bit crazy for the Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte lipsticks when they were first released last year, myself included. I still love my 107 and I'm trying to get as much wear out of it as possible before Spring properly arrives.

I loved my first one so much that when I saw shade 101 on Emma from Fluff and Fripperies I knew I'd end up getting that one too.

This shade is definitely more wearable than 107 and I can definitely see myself wearing this coming into Spring and Summer. It's creamy texture makes it easier to apply than some other matte lipsticks I own. I do find it looks a little chalky when applied heavily so patting it in over some lip balm seems to be the way to go. I love wearing this with some 60s inspired feline eye liner and MAC's Well Dressed blush for a really fresh faced look. I found the colour comparable to Revlon's Pink Pout and MAC's Creme Cup.

They retail for approximately €6.99 and are available in Boots, Dunnes and pharmacies.

What do you think? You you given into the hype and tried these yet?
