Pat McGrath Labs Eye Ecstasy Eye Shadow Palette, Eyedols Eye Shadow and Mini Lip Fetish Lip Balm Trio

I recently won a giveaway from the lovely Siobhán of Beauty Lymin which included these gorgeous products from Pat McGrath Labs. I was so excited because the only product of hers that I have tried until now is the MatteTrance Lipstick in the shade Elson. I've been wanting to try out more of her products for a while and I've since ordered the new Dark Star Mascara, the Mthrship Mega: Celestial Divinity Palette and the LuxeTrance Lipstick in Psycho Candy. I'm sure I'll be featuring them on the blog soon.

The prize consisted of the Eye Ecstasy Eye Shadow Palette in Sublime, the Eyedols Eye Shadows in the shades Deep Velvet, Gold Standard and Burnished Honey and the Mini Lip Fetish Lip Balm Trio with mini versions of the shades Clear, Blow Up and Flesh 3.

As you can see from the swatches below the eyeshadows are beautiful, I had been wanting to try them for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. The Eye Ecstasy palette is only €15 reduced from €30 at the moment so it's a great way to try her eyeshadows if you don't have the money to buy one of the bigger palettes. The Eyedols are €14 each reduced from €27 as is the Mini Lip Fetish Trio. I don't think the formula of the Lip Fetish Lip Balms is special or unique enough to warrant the €38 price tag for a full size product so if you want to try out the formula, this set is a great price at the moment. The formula is a sheer balm formula so they would suit any skin tone and they do feel very hydrating. I just think €38 is far too expensive for a tinted lip balm.

The eyeshadows on the other hand are all gorgeous. I can now see why people rave about her shadows as the formula is beautiful. They're super buttery and easy to blend and I love the shades too. The palette in particular would be a great gift for someone as it's on sale at the moment and it has shades in it that most people would wear. The one thing I will say is that the packaging with the sequins, while fun, is just so unnecessary and not environmentally friendly. I actually kept the sequins and gave them to my sister to use in crafts with my niece because she loved them.

I tried to use all of the eyeshadows in the look below and I loved how it turned out. I've worn some of them alone too and they look great on their own. I liked the Lip Fetish balms paired with this eye look because it's quite full on glam so the sheer lip colour works well with it. What do you think?
