Last weekend I attended the Schuh SS'14 Press Day to take a look at what they have on offer for the coming season.
The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was the amount of beautiful colour, print and texture and some incredible statement heels. Nude, yellow, coral, pink and cobalt blue seemed to be the biggest colours.
There was also a lot of metallic going on with chains, zip details, gold hardware and buckles. It was great to see a heel height for everyone as I tend to stay well away from very high shoes, although I can appreciate how gorgeous they are at 5'9" I'm already tall enough and my feet plus high heels do not go well together.
There were some beautiful lower court shoes as well as a lot of block heels, including an incredible pair with a lucite heel which I absolutely loved.
There were some amazing flats and sandals too including printed canvas shoes from Bucketfeet, metallic brogues from Red or Dead, black and white Schuh own brand sandals and the old reliable tan which is my go to colour for summer sandals.
I had my nails done with NCLA nail wraps in this amazing print by the lovely Pamela Laird. Thanks so much to Dom and Lucy from Schuh for a lovely afternoon, it was so much fun. I'm excited to take off my winter boots and get shopping for sandals. Although not yet because it's still freezing!
What was you favourite pair?
