I bought a couple of the Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow palettes earlier this year, 4 Rose and 8 Pastel Frost. You can see the other looks I created with them in this post and on my Instagram. The lime green shade in the Pastel Frost palette called Mula-la was the one shade in the palette I didn't know how to wear. Then, last week I was going through my saved posts on Instagram and I came across this look on Selena Gomez by makeup artist Hung Vanngo from last February and I thought it would be the perfect way to wear this eyeshadow. If you love makeup and for some reason you don't follow Hung Vanngo, you must take a look at his work. He has such a unique style and always makes women look their absolute best.
I've worn this graphic, exaggerated wing shape before in a cobalt blue, orange and in a purple glitter and I find it such an easy way to wear a bright colour. You can adapt the shape to best suit your eyes too. I applied the eyeshadow with a flat brush and then used a thin lip brush to perfect the edges. I spritzed the brush with some Urban Decay setting spray too just to get the best colour pay-off from the eyeshadow.
I also tried out a new foundation that I was kindly sent by my friend Celine as this shade was too light for her. It's the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation and I've wanted to try it for a while now as I've heard some great things about it. I have the shade 160 Shell which at first I thought would be too dark on me but it's actually not too far off my skin tone, only slightly darker than what I would usually go for but I think it turned out just fine. I was so happy with how the foundation looked throughout the day and now looking at the photos of it on I think it looks so beautiful and natural on my skin. I've only tried it once so I definitely need to test it out more before I give my opinion but so far so good.
