Wanna Feel The Seasons Passing, Wanna Feel The Spring

I recently received this Closet Tropical Swing Dress from Irish online retailer Endora. I chose this dress because I loved the print and colours and I thought it would be perfect for Spring.

Shoes and Cardigan- Monsoon
Necklace- ONecklace
Nails- Essie Cute As A Button
Lipstick- Revlon Pink In The Afternoon

This is definitely a dress you could wear in the evening or to an event if you dressed it up with accessories. I chose to wear it during the day and made it more transitional by layering it and wearing tights. The dress is such a flattering shape with the defined, belted waist and full skirt. It's one of those dresses that warrants some spinning around (when no one is looking) and is a pleasure to wear. I absolutely love it!

I chose to wear some fresh Spring make up too with this gorgeous Revlon lipstick. It's a great nude pink for fairer skin tones. I also recently bought Essie's Cute As A Button after wanting it for years and just never getting around to buying it. It's the perfect coral, I can see myself wearing this all Spring and Summer.

The nameplate necklace is another recent purchase. I know people generally get these as gifts but I really wanted one so I decided to treat myself. I've been wearing it almost every day since I got it and I'm toying with the idea of getting one with my blog name.

Has Spring sprung in your part of the world?

Aria and Divine Spring/Summer 2014

I recently attended the Spring/Summer press day for two Irish boutiques, Aria and Divine. I've never been to either boutique so I was excited to see what brands and stock they were showcasing on the day.

Immediately I was struck by the incredible amount of colour in the room, I couldn't help but feel excited for the warmer months. Divine stocks a wide range of brands including Uttam, Yumi, Guess, Kevan Jon, Kling, Naf Naf and Blank among others. I spoke with the lovely Claire and Elaine on the day who explained that because Divine is located in Maynooth which has a large student population, they cater for all age groups and tastes. It's definitely apparent in the variety of pieces I saw on the day from the very classic to the printed, colourful and trend driven items.

It was so nice to hear the ladies talk about the favourite brands, designers and pieces from the Spring/Summer collection. Their passion and enthusiasm for their boutique makes me want to pay them a visit very soon to see the place myself.

The lovely Karolynn, owner of Aria, took us through her gorgeous Spring/Summer collection including brands such as Marlene Birger, Tara Jarmon, Ted Baker and Ingenue London. She explained that after living in Finland for years she wanted to bring some European brands into Ireland that were previously unavailable here.

I could definitely see the Scandinavian influence in Karolynn's choices. Among the gorgeous brightly coloured and printed pieces were a huge amount of classic, minimal pieces that I could see being in any woman's wardrobe for years. There were some stunning colours including green, cobalt blue, bright orange and hot pink as well as a great selection of monochrome and pastels.

A huge thank you to all of the lovely ladies I met on the day, I was so impressed with what I saw and I look forward to visiting both boutiques in the future.

Velvet Tongue So Sweet Say Anything You Like

Last weekend we went to Skerries to see my mam who finally got out of hospital after a month. Thankfully she's on the mend although there is still no answer as to why she was so sick. Thank you for all the lovely comments and messages, it really helps during the hard times to know people are thinking of you. We headed down to the very windy beach to take some photos while we were there.

I wanted a furry cardigan/jacket for ages and I saw this one in H&M months ago but didn't get it before it went out of stock. Luckily it came back into stock after Christmas and I grabbed it. I got these boots as a Christmas present and they've barely left my feet since. I love them so much that I wish I'd gotten a second pair! The sunglasses were an early Autumn purchase that I've only gotten around to wearing recently. I got them thinking they'd be the perfect Autumn/Winter sunglasses since they're velvet. The coat is another Christmas present that I was so happy with because I didn't actually have a black Winter coat. It's a wool mix and lined so it's incredibly warm and the fur collar and cuffed sleeves give it that vintage look.

One of my favourite purchases of the Winter is this Zara scarf. I saw Lily Pebbles wearing it months ago and I fell in love. I went online straight away and it was sold out. None of the Zara branches in Dublin had it and I even emailed Zara to see if it was going to be coming back into stock and they said it wouldn't be so I resorted to stalking eBay for it. After about a week, I found a listing for it and placed my bid and won! I had it shipped to my aunt in Florida who sent it on to me because the seller didn't ship internationally. Excuse the long, uninteresting story but I just think it's funny the lengths us girls (and guys) go to for our style. Oh and just so you know the scarf is totally amazing and like a giant blanket and I love it!

I hope you all are doing well!
